Not much I can say here really.. but i'll give it a go ;)
I work in the computer networking and Internet industry and have done since around 1997 after I left college. My hands-on skills are mostly around Cisco and Linux (I'm CCNA and LPIC certified), mainly all hosting related. I started a company back in 1998 providing network consultancy and Internet hosting services (initially from our homegrown server room on the end of a 2mb!) which ran well for a few years and was eventually sold in 2003. I joined the company who bought it as their Technical Manager and after doing all I could with that company I then moved to a large UK ISP as their Data Centre Ops Manager.
All my jobs have involved looking after Data Centres in Docklands, although i've also looked after sites in Manchester, Bristol and New York.
When im not working, im either out on the track (on my motorbike or karting), out raving or with my family. I have a baby son, James, and got married in September 2008
